"I have to say that it was a bit of a surprise running into miss Head Girl Lang down in the kitchens in the middle of the night during my 6th year. She didn't quite strike me as the type to do that sort of thing being Head Girl and what not, but you can't blame someone with a taste for food. From there, I'd like to say that Chase and I became very good friends. We kept in touch after she graduated and I wasn't all that surprised to hear that she had become and Auror so fast - it was Chase after all.

We lost touch for a while when I got wrapped up in the contest, but when I heard that she was hospitalized, I made sure to visit with some of the honey castella cakes that she liked so much even if it was a bit difficult to get it past some of the St. Mungo's staff. It actually became a bit of habit, sneaking her in food and stuff; that hospital food is horrible stuff no matter where you go. She drops by the pub whenever she can and I make sure to give her a discount on the drinks. You can't expect me to give them to her on the house, do you?"

She is definitely an top flight Auror at such a young age. Skilled in tracking and magics, with her eagle animagus making her even more versatile. Although I must say she has serious flaw: She puts up with me! Now as to how we know each other: Well technically we're distantly related, but most wizards are so that's not really important. In school she was a swotty thing, not really my type if you know what I mean, but those Hogwarts Quidditch victory parties can get pretty rowdy and before you could say 'Merlin's pants', we were snogging in the Transfiguration classroom. And under the Quidditch stands. And briefly behind that creepy house elf memorial statue on the third floor. It didn't last long- it never does- and I was all too happy to be cut loose at the time. But it's like she gets under my skin, right, and she just sits there at her desk, obviously bored out of her bloody mind, just needing a nice distraction and well, who better than me to volunteer? "Ah, Chaaaaase, now that's a can of worms. I thought we were in love back in school, but what does a teenager know of love? What we felt was pretty strong, all fire and boiling, threatening to burn us both alive, but love isn't supposed to be destructive, is it? I left, and yeah, that's definitely my fault. I admit it. When we graduated, Connor offered to have me go to the States for Auror training, with him as my mentor. Yeah, I took him up on it, but it was after Chase and I exploded yet again. I don't know, I guess it was just enough by that point. I had to get out, or we were just going to drive each other insane, and I was afraid that if we weren't careful, we'd start to hate each other. Better to remember the good things.

"So, I disappeared to America and got into all sorts of trouble. Connor's a bad influence, take it from me, so I had plenty of options where women were concerned, but I guess when you have Chase's kind of fire to compare to, nothing else is really going to cut it, right? Anyway, I tried to tell myself all those years that we were both over it, and even if I wasn't, she had to be. Who was I to think that she'd still be caught up on me? Well, running into each other again after all this time just went to show how wrong I was. It was instantaneous and the fire only built up from there. I think I'm like gasoline to her, but we're both a little older and wiser this time, so we might actually stand a chance.

Let's just say that Chase and eye never really saw eye-to-eye as students. She was a year ahead of me and always seemed to have a bug up her arse about everything. I know now that I was out of line 80% of the time. Either way we seemed to have left the school with a bad taste for each other. Aiden pointed out that my extreme dislike for the witch came when I was trying to date Liam and Chase stole him away. Now I know it's childish, but I always had a bit of jealousy toward the woman. Now, I am quite content with my job and how my life is going. I am not about to try to start a new friendship, but I always stay appropriate and professional while I'm around her. Otherwise, I never see the woman, and trust me... there are no tears shed over that.

She just always rubbed me the wrong way. Our families didn’t really even get along, so that certainly didn’t help things. Yes, I’ll admit, I was jealous when she got Head Girl, but at the same time I almost expected it by then. We haven’t seen each other in quite a long time, and to be honest, I’m glad of it."
