the good thing is, i missed the intern event last night where everyone more or less got trashed playing beer pong, so ALL of us are miserable today

woot. no. 2.

i have a giant bump on my forehead, the size of a small egg. i have NO IDEA what happened and don't remember bumping my head, but it's sore and giving me a headache. My mother is freaking out that I have a dangerous hematoma or something.

diners, dives and drive throughs... i will probably go my entire life without eating crazy, grease-laden junk like a pancake the size of a pizza, topped with bacon, sausage, ham, eggs, cheese, chili, etc etc, but it's fun to watch other people eat it!

To get something going, I'm combining two smaller plots, and doing a second thread for The Lost Library subplot, as well as The Winning Season. This could also ead into larger world plots, since the small wizarding community of Rhodes is going to have a really good team for some reason. It also intersects with the whodunit in Lost Library. A reason for more characters to simply be doing things.

Back from maine. The wedding was beautiful! The weather was pretty nice too. Except I got a sunburn just from sitting in the car on the way back today. Not fun.

Will get some posting done tomorrow. But tonight I am up late working on a project for 3D class.

LAST WEEK OF CLASSES!!!!

Very interesting opening weekend. Good crowds. Sunday's Jungle Book went well, and we had the former President of Peru (Alejandro Toledo) in attendance. Very gracious and interesting man. Went to school in the US, and had very nice things to say about the production.

hp6 my favorite hp movie by far- thought they did a much better job of adapting the movie to the book but then again, i don't really enjoy the movie franchise anyway so maybe it's a moot point. worth a watch definitely.

i'm in love with christopher gorham. why must he be 1) married with children and 2) an actor whom i will probably never meet?! whyyyyyyy?

New laptop!

1. Finally got to see HP6. Overall it was good, and an improvement on HP5. I see why they changed a few things to set up the next dual film, so those parts didn['t bother me, but there were a couple of details (like having Ginny hide the book) which puzzled me. Now I guess they'll have to have Ginny help them locate the horcrux as well. The little romances were good, and Jim broadbent gave a particularly good performance as Slughorn. I can already see where they simply have too many characters to use effectively now: Luna, Neville and some others simply had no screen time at all.

2. It's quiet with the kid away at camp.

3. ArtsWalk in September, we'll see what kind of dollars we can raise.

So spending every night out in town seems fun. Until the alarm goes off at 5 for running for 3 miles or more...
